Remember that LocalBudget is local-first. If you clear your app data or uninstall the app without a backup, your budget data may be lost. If you are having issues with bank sync, please check your SimpleFin connection in Settings first.

Where is my data stored?
All your financial data is stored exclusively on your device. We do not have servers that store your personal information. Your data never leaves your phone.
How do I back up my data?
Your LocalBudget data is included in your device's standard backup process (e.g., iCloud Backup for iOS). Restoring your device from a backup will restore your LocalBudget data as well.
Is my bank information safe?
Yes. LocalBudget never sees or stores your bank login credentials. If you use the optional bank sync feature, all authentication is handled securely through SimpleFin's infrastructure.
How do I delete all my data?
You can delete individual accounts and transactions within the app, clear the app's data from your device settings, or simply uninstall the application. Since everything is stored locally, removing the app removes all data.
